Although originally conceived as a Sublime cover band,
the members of FORTY OUNCES quickly began to establish their
own material. Their first full-length recording, Impacto,
was
recently finished and is already selling well in the midst
of great reviews. FORTY OUNCES'
songs are unique in their blend of the music styles of rock,
reggae, pop and ska. This
mixture of elements provides for catchy, danceable songs
that have a lot of crowd appeal.
The band strikes up a good mix of cover material with original
songs, making it the perfect
band to perform in live settings such as clubs and large
parties. FORTY OUNCES has also
opened up for several national acts.
