The Hollywwood Band was formed in 1995 by band leader/keyboardist, Harold "Hollywood" McColumn to perform for any audience that takes music serious. Our special blend of Motown, Beach Music, R&B, & Jazz has made us one of the most requested bands in the Southeastern USA. The band also includes John Taylor on guitars, Lachun Preston on vocals, Tawanna Gilbert on vocals, & Harold McColumn III on drums.
Our impressive list of performances includes colleges, wedding receptions, country clubs, reunions, corporate events, and concerts. The band also performs behind Stax recording artist, William Bell, and also backs his acts on the Wilbe label. Keyboardist Harold "Hollywood" McColumn was chosen by Mr. Bell to perform with the Stax Records Soul Revue that toured The Netherlands and Finland in July of 2008.
