SLO-GIN 60’S REVUE BIO

Originally formed in 1964, Slo-Gin re-formed with the Tuscaloosa Horns in 1981. The band has toured extensively throughout the Southeast, appearing in Memphis, Mobile, Atlanta, the Gulf coast, and the casino circuit in Louisiana, while concentrating on major music events throughout Alabama. Slo-Gin appeared at the first SEC Championship Gamin in ’92, had a seven year run with the Magic 96 New Year’s Eve Party at the Sheraton Perimeter Park in Birmingham, and has performed with the Atlanta Rhythm Section, Lorrie Morgan, as well as the Birmingham Zoobilee, the Prairie Arts Festival in West Point, MS, the Alabama Crawfish Festival in Faunsdale, the Alabama Home Builders Summer Beach party in Sandestin, FL, numerous conventions and private functions.

Featuring four lead vocalists that add color and variety, the Tuscaloosa Horns, (regulars with the Temptations, Four Tops, O’Jays, Mary Wilson, Frankie Valli, and many, many others), and a great song list of the 60’s music that is unquestionably the best party music going, the ten-piece Slo-Gin 60’s Revue is know as the South’s Premier Party Band, specializing in the great music that we all identify with for remembering the good times!!
